Funeral services set for Hilltop Lakes EMS director
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Hilltop Lakes first responders are mourning the loss of their EMS director.
Dennis Smith served as a paramedic since before 1999 and he led the Hilltop Lakes EMS department for more than seven years. One of his career highlights that showcases his dedication is helping the department get a much needed new ambulance.
Dennis was a father to three children and a grandfather of three.
Visitation will be held on March 9 at Faith Temple Lighthouse Church in Temple at 1 p.m. There will be a service following visitation. A procession will then take place and Dennis will be escorted to his final resting spot at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton, according to the Hilltop Lakes Fire Facebook page.
