Michael McCaul wins GOP Primary for Texas Congressional District 10
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Congressman Michael McCaul will represent the Republican Party in the November general election for the 10th Congressional District of Texas after defeating primary challenger Jared Lovelace.
“I am deeply honored by the confidence the people of TX-10 have placed in me to continue fighting for them in Congress,” McCaul said in a statement to KBTX. “People want a representative who can get things accomplished that benefits their families and their communities. That is exactly what I have done and what I will continue to do in Congress.”
McCaul currently serves as the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee as well as the Chairman Emeritus on the House Homeland Committee.
In November, McCaul will face Theresa Boisseau, who won the Democratic Primary, defeating primary challenger Keith McPhail.
