Clothed In Righteousness Quarterly clothing drive returns
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -The quarterly clothing drive put on by Holy Trinity Worship Ministries is right around the corner.
The Clothed In Righteousness clothing drive will be taking place in Sue Haswell Park and is being put on by Holy Trinity Ministries.
Chenika Brooks, the Executive Director of Operations at Holy Trinity Ministries said the clothing actually began in her and her husband’s garage and this is the second year as a ministry they have hosted this event.
Brooks said, “People can participate by donating items to Morning Star Storage and we are looking for volunteers to help us load, unload, and sort clothing.”
The Brazos Valley Food Bank will also be there to help provide services and items to those in need. “The Brazos Valley Food Bank partners with us to share information and assist those who need resources in addition to food delivery services,” Brooks said.
“We have clothes for men, women and children, as well as toys and household items for free” said Brooks. “We have made a point to go through all the clothing for winter and spring to separate light and heavy clothes.”
The Clothed in Righteousness event is Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
