Data analyst discusses primary turnout ahead of election day
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Early voting has come to a close in the state of Texas. If you haven’t cast your vote yet, election day is Tuesday.

One person who has been tracking early voting results closely is Derek Ryan with Ryan Data & Research.
He joined News 3 at Six Friday from Austin.
“The 2020 primary, you know, the Democrats had a contested presidential primary that year. So we’re actually seeing that the Democratic primary vote totals are down compared to 2020. On the Republican side, we’re actually up higher than what we were in 2020,” Ryan said.
