Bryan ISD Education Foundation welcomes new executive director
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Bryan ISD Education Foundation is starting the new year with a new executive director.
Sarah Braden is now leading the Foundation in its continuous fundraising efforts that help support such initiatives as Bryan ISD Senior scholarships, teacher grants, and other specialized classroom projects.
The Foundation held a reception Tuesday to welcome her to the new role.
“This role is really important to me,” shared Braden. “I have two kids in the district and one that has already graduated from Bryan schools last May. The schools are vital to this community and I feel like the education foundation is well positioned to make an impact and fill in some needs the district has that maybe they can’t fund themselves.”
Braden is an Aggie and has served as the Foundation’s operating manager over the past six months.
