Elementary schools host cereal drives ahead of spring break

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Some of our local elementary schools are making sure their students get breakfast over spring break.

Ross Elementary is hosting a cereal drive. It’s going on until March 6.

They are hoping to have 480 boxes of cereal donated so that they can send each student home for spring break with their own box.

Donations can be dropped off at the front office.

Bowen Elementary is doing the same thing.

They have 390 students they are hoping to send cereal home with over spring break. They are going to make a cereal domino chain with all the boxes donated to encourage donations.

Donations are being accepted until March 6. You can drop off donations between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at Bowen Elementary.
