Union Pacific to begin cleaning operation Monday with visible flames
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – According to the City of Bryan, residents may see some flames near downtown this week, however they say there is nothing to worry about.
Union Pacific will be cleaning six rail cars in the area of West Pease Street and South Main Street. Weather permitting, the process will take place over four days, beginning Monday.
The cleaning process includes visible flames that will be controlled and monitored.
The city says they do not expect the operation to impact the public or traffic.
