Bryan police investigating deadly wreck outside a home
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Bryan Police Department continues its investigation into a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning that claimed the life of a woman.
The wreck happened just after 6 a.m. in the 1300 block of Ursuline Avenue at Academy Street in a residential neighborhood north of Sue Haswell Park.
Police say the vehicle drove into a tree in the front yard of a home and the driver was pronounced deceased on the scene.
No other persons were in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.
Family members have shared with KBTX that the victim is a young lady from Bryan but we’re waiting for police to publicly share her identity before releasing her name.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
