College Station man arrested during SWAT situation

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A College Station man was arrested Thursday for his role in an aggravated robbery.

CSPD says in mid-October Damion Gonzalez, 18, and another unidentified suspect met with a man attempting to buy THC cartridges he saw on social media.

After meeting Gonzalez held the man at gunpoint and demanded money, causing the victim to drive away and crash his vehicle.

Gonzalez was arrested during a SWAT situation in College Station Thursday at a home in the 100 block of Ridge Creek.

He is charged with aggravated robbery and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
