Grand Jury hands up indictment for 2 men arrested in connection to shooting

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A Brazos County Grand Jury handed up an indictment for two people arrested in connection to a shooting in Bryan.

Police arrested Deontae Williams and Semaj Nelson for a shooting that happened in April 2023 on Legion Court near Old Kurten Road.

One person was injured and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Williams and Nelson are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

They have both bonded out of jail but Nelson is back in custody on drug-related charges.
