Caldwell Burleson County Lions Club to host dinner and dance
CALDWELL, Texas (KBTX) – Pull on your best blue jeans and boots! The Caldwell Burleson County Lions Club is hosting its 3rd annual Denim, Dinner and Dance.
The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Caldwell Civic Center. A social hour begins at 6 p.m. and a steak dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
In addition to a live and silent auction, there will be a raffle for a cruise and live music provided by the CrossRoads Band.
Thanks to last year’s event, the Caldwell Burleson County Lions Club was able to donate $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of the Brazos Valley – Caldwell Unit.
“Lions are first known for sight, anything with vision. We do eye-testing, we take care of anybody that needs glasses, we even recycle glasses. We also work with hunger, so we support our food banks. We work with childhood cancer, we work with diabetes, and we also do things for our environment,” president of the Lion’s Club Johanna Elliott said.
Tickets are $50 per person and $500 for a VIP table and can be purchased in advance by calling 979-218-7864.
