Impress your valentine, create a floral arrangement
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – If you waited too long to order Valentine’s Day flowers, don’t worry.
You may be surprised at what you can make yourself using flowers from the grocery store.
You can grab a pre-made arrangement and bundles you can arrange on your own at H-E-B’s floral department

H-E-B’s Dianne Besosa said the type of vase you choose for the arrangement matters.
“If you have a direct tall vessel, it’s going to just stick straight up, but this one kind of bows in and gathers at the top and so your flowers are going to bloom and fan out,” Besosa said.
To maintain the arrangement, Besosa suggests clipping the ends and using flower food, which can normally be found attached to the flowers or in the floral department.
H-E-B’s floral arrangements can last between five to seven days or longer with proper care, according to Besosa.
