Some College Station residents asked to check their yard for discarded narcotics

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The College Station Police Department is asking some residents to check their property for any items that don’t belong to them.

They say it’s possible a suspect discarded drugs in the area between Holleman Drive and Hereford Street while running from police.

On Monday, officers tried to pull two people over in the 800 block of Wellborn Road after seeing the driver on the phone, ignoring a hands-free ordinance.

The driver refused to stop and continued down Wellborn.

During the chase, one of the suspects jumped out of the car and ran. Both he and the driver were eventually arrested.

The driver, Jessica Priesner, is charged with fleeing police and was released on a $6,000 bond.

Shon Notter is facing multiple charges including evading arrest. He has previous charges from Trinity and Burleson Counties. He is being held on bonds totaling $38,000.

If residents find anything suspicious on their property, call CSPD. They want to make sure no one, including children and pets, is at risk of coming in contact with these narcotics.
