Big Barn Dance Music Festival comes to Bryan for the first time
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Big Barn Dance Music Festival is just three months away, and excitement is starting to build.
It’s called ‘The Biggest Barn Dance in Texas,’ and it’s coming to Midtown Park in collaboration with Destination Bryan.
The festival will feature country artists, local vendors, and dance lessons.
Creator Michael Hearne was at First Friday to promote the festival. Fellow artist Shake Russell also performed.
Hearne said he’s looking forward to bringing the festival to a new audience.
”It’s not just the artist up onstage, but people in the audience. You do meet the new people who all have a common love of music,” Hearne said.
The Big Barn Dance Music Festival started over two decades ago in Taos, New Mexico.
