Texas A&M Basketball player Tyrece “Boots” Radford arrested
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Texas A&M basketball player Tyrece “Boots” Radford, 24, was arrested Friday for evading police near Northgate.
According to police reports, on Dec. 3, 2023, bicycle patrol at Northgate saw Radford disregard a stop sign while driving at Louise Ave and Boyett St. Police say he narrowly avoided causing a collision.
College Station police say they tried to approach Radford’s vehicle, but he continued to drive away.
Later the same night, Texas A&M University Police stopped Radford to question him about the incident, but he reportedly denied he was driving and was let go.
Officers investigated social media posts and camera footage and were able to connect Radford to the vehicle they say failed to stop.
Radford was arrested early Friday morning for evading arrest and is being held on an $8,000 bond.
