College Station man charged with deadly conduct for road rage incident

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A College Station man is accused of pointing a loaded firearm at another driver during a road rage incident Saturday morning on Highway 6 in College Station.

According to an arrest report, Hunter Walker pointed the gun at the other driver when they were in the area of University Drive.

Both drivers gave conflicting statements about what happened.

Walker, 23, told police the other driver nearly rear-ended him when he changed lanes, and the other driver then pulled up to his vehicle, rolled down his window, and began cussing and screaming at him and threatened to kill him.

The other driver, who called police, said Walker cut him off on the highway and brake-checked him. He then claimed Walker pulled up next to his vehicle, flicked him off, and then observed the gun being pointed in his direction with Walker’s finger on the trigger.

Walker was later located in his vehicle and police confirmed there was a gun found under the driver’s seat.

He was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct and released on a $4,000 bond.
