‘It’s been nonstop,’ HTeaO operator gives look into first week

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A new tea shop is now open in College Station. HTeaO is celebrating its first full week of business, and the store’s operator, Paul Torres, said it’s been nonstop.

“I really contribute a lot of this to being able to get everybody in and out,” Torres said. “My crew, they’ve done a fantastic job and they’re just hustlers and it’s just great.”

The shop, located at 815 Wellborn Road, drew at least 2,500 people, according to the operator.

“I stopped counting basically,” Torres said.

The HTeaO franchise started in West Texas, and College Station is the 100th location. It offers over 26 sweet and unsweet tea flavors that can be enjoyed alone or mixed.

Some of the flavors include regular sweet and unsweet tea, peach ginger, almond green, Ryan Palmer, mango fresco, Texas chai, blueberry green, Georgia peach, wild raspberry and coconut.

There are sample cups by the drink dispensers, so customers can try the flavors before buying.

Each tea is made with reverse osmosis water.

“Reverse osmosis water is basically a three-filtered water, and it comes very clean and crisp when you get water,” Torres said.

In addition, the shop carries coffee, lemonade, snacks and items like water bottles and shirts.

The store is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HTeaO offers happy hour every day from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
