Reveille X visits students at Johnson Elementary

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Accompanied by her handler Cadet Theodore Neal, Reveille X visited 1st graders at Johnson Elementary Friday.

Neal talked about Reveille’s history and her significance to Texas A&M, and answered students’ questions.

First-grade teacher, Rebekah Rial, says her kids were so excited to meet Reveille.

”We were so happy to have her come and visit Johnson because we were trying to work really hard to teach them traditions and how important traditions are here at Johnson since it is 50 years since we started. So just seeing the traditions she brings to Texas A&M University has just been great for them to see,” said Rial.

Towards the end of the event, the 1st graders got to take class pictures with Reveille.
