Free Music Friday: Drifters and Grifters
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Drifters & Grifters is a College Station-based Alternative Country-Rock band.
Their sound has been described as “Southern Rock with a Mohawk”.
Nathan Giles and Stu Chapman, two of the members of the band, joined First News at Four to talk about what they have been up to since the last time they came to visit.
They have been working on a new EP coming out on March 1.
“I think we have five songs coming out. We’re real proud of it. We got to the studio and recorded it months and months ago. We’re real happy with the way the songs came out. We put that together and that should be released real soon,” said Chapman.
They also have a performance on Friday at The 101 in Bryan beginning at 8 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door, $5 cash and $8 card.
