The old Sears building next to the mall is once again for sale
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Plans for a new food hall concept in College Station have changed, KBTX has confirmed.
Waco-based UnionBrands Eateries Texas announced last March it had plans to expand to BCS and open the food hall at the old Sears building on Holleman Drive across from Post Oak Mall. Plans were to renovate the space and have a diverse range of more than 20 eateries and dining spaces inside.
In October, a spokeswoman for the company told News 3′s Rusty Surette that an opening date had not been set but to keep monitoring its social media channels for updates.
On Tuesday, Clinton Oldham of Oldham Goodwin Group confirmed that plans had changed and the building was again for sale, but no additional information was immediately available.
