Tickets still available for Brazos County Go Texan Dance & Auction

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Tickets are still available for the annual Brazos County Go Texan Dance & Auction.

The event will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 with doors set to open at 7:30 p.m. at the Brazos Center.

Last year $96,000 was awarded to FFA and 4-H members who graduated from Brazos County high schools.

Brazos County Go Texan President talked about how many of the past recipients have shared how grateful they are for the scholarships.

“It’s always neat to talk to these kids to hear those benefits and how appreciative they are,” Ware said.

Tickets can be purchased for $15 before the event at Cavender’s Boot City and Catalena Hatters or for $20 at the door on the night of the event.

Risky Liver band will provide live music and kids are welcome to attend.

There will be a live and silent auction.

“We have a fishing trip, we have a custom hat from Catalena’s, boots from Cavender’s,” Ware said.

Other auction items include handmade spurs and knives and rodeo tickets among others.
