Some schools are delaying the start to class on Wednesday

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – College Station ISD, Bryan ISD, and Texas A&M University are among those delaying the start of classes on Wednesday.

COLLEGE STATION ISD

Due to icy road conditions in certain areas, College Station ISD will delay the start of school by two hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Buses will run their normal routes, but will start two hours later.

Elementary schools will start at 9:40 a.m., and intermediate, middle, and high schools will begin at 10:25 a.m.

All morning half-day ECSE classes are canceled.

BRYAN ISD

Bryan ISD will have a 2-hour delayed start on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

As we continue to assure the safety of our students and staff, all Bryan ISD schools and facilities will have a 2-hour delayed start tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17. This means buses will run 2 hours later than the normal pick-up time.

Adjusted start times include:

Elementary- Instead of 7:35 AM- delayed to 9:35 AMIntermediate- Instead of 7:35 AM- delayed to 9:35 AMMiddle School- Instead of 8:20 AM- delayed to 10:20 AMHigh School- Instead of 8:20 AM- delayed to 10:20 AMBryan Collegiate – Instead of 8:05 AM- delayed to 10:05 AM
