Volunteers needed to keep VFW Post 4692 warming center open in Bryan
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Organizers of the VFW Post 4692 warming center say volunteers are needed to keep the shelter open Tuesday night.
The shifts are four hours each.
Volunteers are needed from midnight. – 4 a.m. and 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.
As of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, only one person had signed up for the first shift, and two for the second. Eight people are needed each shift to keep the proper ratio.
Organizers say about 30 people are using the warming center.
