Emergency responders staying busy with crashes along Brazos Valley roads Monday
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Icy road conditions are making it challenging to drive on roads across the Brazos Valley Monday.
First responders have been called to multiple reports of vehicles sliding off the roads and crashes because of the current conditions.
In a Facebook post, the Burleson County Office of Emergency Management asked people to stay home and off the roads unless it’s necessary to travel.
Officials with the College Station Police Department shared a similar message on their social media accounts.
“Please be mindful of the freezing road conditions around town, especially on Highway 6. Officers are currently and will more than likely spend their day helping motorists involved in crashes,” said the message shared around 8 a.m.
