Exclusive: Bryan man arrested Thursday on charges of possessing child pornography
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – For the second time this week, a Bryan man has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography images and material.
On Thursday morning, police and the FBI descended on a home on Williams Bend in the Austin’s Colony area.
Sources tell KBTX that a 25-year-old man at the home was taken into custody by Bryan police who were assisting FBI agents at the scene.
Reuben Waller Boyer III is now booked into the Brazos County Detention Center on one charge of Possession of Child Pornography: Less than 100 images.
At the time of this writing, a bond had not been set and a mug shot was not available.
The arrest comes a day after another Bryan man was arrested for the same thing.
Joel Garcia is linked to thousands of child pornography images being shared in The Woodlands in Montgomery County, according to detectives.
On Wednesday, officers executed a search warrant at Garcia’s home in Bryan and secured several electronic devices that reportedly contained material sexually depicting infants and toddlers.
It’s unknown if the two cases are related.
