Robbery suspect nabbed by Bryan police following foot chase through neighborhoods

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Bryan police have arrested a man suspected of an armed robbery at a business last week.

Jeremiah Peterson, 30, of Bryan was arrested Tuesday morning after leading police on a foot chase that went into neighborhoods off Carter Creek Parkway and Broadmoor Drive, Sul Ross Drive, and Lamar Drive.

The robbery he’s accused of happened last Friday in the 2600 block of Finfeather Road. Police say he pointed a pistol at a store clerk before leaving with stolen items. He was also wanted for an assault incident being investigated by the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the arrest report, Peterson “has a history of being violent with civilians and law enforcement.”

Peterson is now in jail and facing charges including Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Evading Arrest, Criminal Trespass, and Aggravated Robbery.

His bonds total $85,000.
