Fire reported at historic church in Burleson County
BURLESON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – Firefighters are on the scene Wednesday afternoon of a fire at a historic church located near Caldwell in Burleson County.
The fire at the New Tabor Brethren Church on County Road 225 was reported to 911 just before 4:00 p.m.

According to radio traffic, a welding incident may have sparked the fire.
Multiple fire departments have been requested to respond to the scene.
In October last year, KBTX featured the church as it celebrated 130 years of service and worship.
“Founded on October 15, 1893, this church has stood as a beacon of faith and resilience, embodying a rich history rooted in its dedication to God and community,” KBTX reported.
