Local car washes staying busy following Monday’s ‘mud rain’
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – If you left your car outside Monday night, it probably looks pretty dirty at the moment.
Drew’s Car Wash tells KBTX they have been busy getting those cars shiny again.
On Tuesday, they washed about 3,200 cars across their six locations.
500 of those cars were washed at the brand-new location on Texas Avenue and Highway 21. They offered $1 car washes there on Tuesday.
“With that rain that came through and then the winds everything was dirty these cars were coming through looking pretty bad, but they were all leaving here looking good,” Drew’s Car Wash district manager Jim Phelps said.
The car wash says they expect to be busy for the next couple of days.
