City of College Station asking for input on the future of Southeast Park
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The City of College Station wants your input on the future of Southeast Park. That’s the former site of the Texas Independence Ballpark.
This upcoming Monday, October 30, the city is hosting a public meeting at City Hall to discuss the park.

Plans for the ballpark were discontinued in August. A report from city staff showed the park contained insufficient soil that would cost the city a minimum of $10 million to fix.
