DPS troopers investigating fatal crash in Milam County

MILAM COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – State troopers in Milam County are investigating a fiery crash in Milam County that killed a Houston man over the weekend.

The crash happened on US-190 near CR-236A, north of Milano.

Troopers say a semi-truck hit a cow in the roadway, lost control and then crashed into a tree. The truck then caught fire.

The driver, Keon White, from Houston, was killed.

DPS says all drivers should avoid swerving when there is an animal on the road. They say swerving can cause you to lose control of your vehicle.
