Early voting kicks off in Brazos County
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Early voting in Brazos County began on Oct. 23.
According to Brazos County Elections Administrator Trudy Hancock, around half of all ballots cast come in during early voting, which helps to lessen the crowd on Election Day.
There are five early voting locations across Bryan and College Station. The process to vote early is the same as voting on Election Day – all you need to bring with you is your photo ID.

“It’s always a good practice to get your vote in just so that you know, you don’t have anything come up in the meantime,” Hancock said.
She especially recommends early voting for the elderly, disabled, or those with mobility issues. Accessibility measures like curbside voting are easier to access when the lines aren’t as long.

Early voting closes on Nov. 3. There are 14 constitutional amendments, four bond propositions from College Station ISD, and several school board races on the ballot.
Hancock urges voters to educate themselves on each ballot measure in order to make informed voting decisions.
“It’s always important to come out, do your civic duty and make sure that you get out there and make your voice heard,” Hancock said.
