4th of July celebrations across the Brazos Valley

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – There are several opportunities this week to celebrate Independence Day.

Elizabeth Luther Church’s 28th Annual July 3rd Fireworks Show – Caldwell

If you want to get the party started early, check out the Elizabeth Lutheran Church’s 28th Annual July 3rd Fireworks Show.

The event includes live music and dancing, food truck vendors, bounce houses for kids, and a fireworks show.

It runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 165 County Road 307 in Caldwell.

Wheelock 4th of July BBQ and Parade – Wheelock

Community members are invited to participate in the 30th annual Wheelock 4th of July BBQ and Parade.

There’s no fee to join the parade. Just show up after 9 a.m. and you’ll be placed in line.

Barbecue plates will be sold for $15 each after the parade until 1 p.m.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 10691 Cavitt St.

4th of in the Park – Hearne

The City of Hearne and the Hearne Chamber of Commerce are hosting fourth festivities all day Thursday at Ruben Gomez Eastside Park.

The event will include food trucks, vendors and a fireworks show. It starts at 10 a.m.

2024 Freedom Festival – Navasota

The City of Navasota is hosting its fifth annual Freedom Festival in Downtown Navasota.

The event will feature a parade, live music and fireworks.

It runs from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Find details about the parade and fireworks here.

Independence Day Parade “Biggest Small Town Parade” – Chappell Hill

You’re invited to participate in Chappell Hill’s 4th of July parade Thursday.

The 47th annual event starts at 10 a.m. in Downtown Chappell Hill.

July 4th Freedom Celebration – Bryan

The VFW Post 4692 (794 N Harvey Mitchell Pkwy) is hosting its Freedom Celebration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event includes games, bounce houses, cornhole, burgers and hot dogs and a cake wheel.

Bush Library July 4th Celebration – College Station

Admission will be free Thursday at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be family activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

4th of July Fireworks & Drones at RELLIS – Bryan

One of the largest events in the area will be the 4th of July Fireworks and Drones Show at RELLIS.

Gates at the Bryan campus will open at 6 p.m. Food trucks will be open from 6 to 8:45 p.m. The fireworks and drones show begins at 9 p.m.

I Heart America Celebration – College Station

The fun continues Friday, July 5 with the College Station Noon Lions Club “I Heart America Celebration.”

The event will include a concert featuring “All Hat No Cadillac” at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks display and drone show starts at 9 p.m.

Gates at the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater open at 5:30 p.m.
